AG Peters & Son, Inc. was founded in 1930 by Amelia G. Peters as a small provider of hand fabricated dresses and casket comforts. A few years later, the company began selling caskets under the guidance of her son, Bud. Amelia and Bud did it all themselves from the sewing and trimming, to the sales and delivery. In these early years, they proudly ran the company and made the AG Peters name a well-known funeral equipment supplier & mortuary equipment supplier business in Williamstown, NJ at the time.

Almost 25 years later, in 1954, Bud Peters with his wife Mildred built the current AG Peters & Son, Inc. location. Throughout this time, they also founded and instituted the company’s guiding principles and ideals, which we strive to continue today. Bud and Mildred grew AG Peters & Son, Inc. to become one of the leaders in funeral service supplies and equipment. Now in our 4th generation, we continue to grow and constantly strive to meet the needs of our funeral directors and professionals.
